For every television series there is a season premiere, a point at which the show is introduced and the players, plot, and story line are introduced to the viewing populace. The initial show is called the ‘pilot’ and like the season premiere the players, plot and story line are introduced…you have been witness to the pilot, here on this blog, a story of love found only in fairy tales… The pilot was …is the story of a love that has been destined from long before you were born. A story about love that transcended more than 20 years, where a boy would become a man and regret the choices made, regardless of the children born, regardless of the successes and failures made, the story of a man who would long for a love that was only found in books, movies and fairy tales. A love ever imprinted on the soul of a boy who would become a man and how after years of life would circle back to find the one true love he was born for.
The season premiere starts here, the second season in the sitcom, drama, real life story of a man and woman destined to be together, it starts with a day at Point Pleasant Beach, in New Jersey… a pretzel that was more like a bagel, an oversized order of cheese fries, a botched romantic dinner on the beach and a ring. A blood red ruby placed in a custom designed ring to represent the undying love of a man for a woman…a ring and a question…”Will you marry me?”
After 23 years of longing, wishing, wondering, and second guessing, the destiny of two people, while far from fulfilled, is finally coming to that place where it should be, where it was supposed to be, where it is meant to be…and if any human being disagrees with the fact that there are points in life when something is supposed to happen in their lives, then I beg them to make their argument, but I assure you; arguing with me would be like arguing with your television set…like screaming at the screen during your favourite program, it would be like arguing with a script portrayed on your screen. You would be arguing with tale, a story, a series…that each week you would return to in order to find out what happened next… a script…that’s what you’d be arguing with, because I believe that I was meant for Mony…and now our second season begins with her saying YES….
Go ahead and argue with me…you would fail in your debate, because the scripted portion of my life is something I truly believe in…the title to my Season Premiere with Mony is “Destined to Be”…and when you face a person, a story, of a person who once did not believe in destiny…who now believes whole heartedly in it…you will lose. So just tune in every chance you get to find out what happens next…
